Jo Davis is Avison Young’s National Head of Planning and has over 25 years’ experience on complex urban change projects and land and property estate strategy for public and private sector clients.

Jo is currently advising on numerous redevelopment proposals in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, including the redevelopment of Finzels Reach, Former Avon Fire Service- Counterslip, Redcliff Quarter and Bedminster Green in Central Bristol. Jo led the planning team in the provision of strategic planning advice for the commercial expansion of Cribbs Causeway and the YTL Arena Complex in north Bristol. Avison Young, led by Jo Davis, secured resolution to grant planning permission in March 2020 of the change of use of the locally listed Brabazon Hangar, creating a flexible leisure venue including an arena, flexible event and exhibition space, and leisure, workspace and food and drink uses.
